These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Narrata application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Narrata is an interactive story application that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized manga-style narrative content based on your choices. Content is generated dynamically and may vary between sessions.
2. AI-Generated Content
Story content, including text and narrative elements, is generated by AI (OpenAI). This content is fictional and created for entertainment purposes only.
- AI-generated content may contain unexpected or imperfect results
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of all generated content
- Generated stories do not represent our views or recommendations
- We continuously work to improve content quality and safety filters
3. Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Free Tier
The core story experience is available for free. Free users may encounter wait timers between story chapters.
3.2 Premium Subscription
Narrata offers an optional premium subscription ("Narrata PRO") that provides additional features, including the ability to skip wait timers.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
3.3 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's support channels in accordance with their refund policies.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Attempt to extract or abuse the AI generation system
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers
5. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, visual assets, and branding, is owned by Narrata and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated story content created during your use of the app is provided for your personal entertainment.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Narrata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or interruption of service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
